Any experience with citi diamond or merrick bank?

Hey everyone i just wanted to know your experience with these 2 cards? My girlfriend just got approved for both citi diamond 3k and merrick $600. Both from preapproved mailings.

Also would adding me as a authorized user to any of there help me out when i want to apply for them, remember im building at the moment so i wouldn't try just yet.

Hi I just have the regular citi plat card and use it pretty frequently. I recently did a online CLI at the 6 month mark and they doubled my credit limit from 1500 to 3000 with only a soft pull. Merrick bank although charges a $6 montly fee with a SKY HIGH APR has been pretty good with CLI. I went from 600 to 1600 in about a year in a half with auto CLI. I never carry a balance and always PIF.

Thanks i will tell her at the 6month mark for citi to do a cli, also the merrick already said after 7 months of on time no lates at all they will double it to $1200 without even asking as part of the deal with the card.

Damn i wish my credit was as good as hers right now, they are just sending her preapproved stuff in the mail left and right. Im gonna work hard on it as i have learned alot so far and still learning.
