I haven't been able to find out anything about it. Discover has been keeping this under wraps. I guess we'll find out on 7/20.

Discover is not really known for its perks. Maybe they are trying to rival some of the rewards structures of MC anf VISA and AMEX?

If I'm remembering correctly I think I read an article where DISCOVER was releasing a next generation type of card called "2G" where it has a chip in it that, when swiped, would allow you to put the charge on the card using the available credit line or to swipe the card and use available points/rewards accumulated to pay for the charg. I think this is it but I may be wrong. It would be pretty cool though

Ah! I knew I should have waited to apply for Discover! Hopefully it's just new benefits or a prepaid as others have speculated.

Could it be a response to the recent MC/Visa lawsuit? Although it would be an awfully quick response.

It may be just an appeal to a younger generation by changing the name... More has been around a long time, maybe Discover is trying to freshen their image.

Looks like a no fee CC, designed to compete against AMEX Clear, Citi Simplicity, etc.

Discover has always had regular cards maybe they are tryign to come up with a 'signature' type card?

Existing should be able to PC into this card, if it has the same 5% offer as DM then I might convert if the design is metal

I'm not sure if it would be a more prestigious card than the More. Just judging by the name, I feel Discover It....discovering it...seems to target first time users or new customers. I vote it will be targeted at the younger audience sort of like Amex Zync.. That's my guess.
