Hey y'all,

Serious garden time now, I promise.

I went on a whim and just applied for the Chase Freedom online. I am about to apply for an apartment and figure now is the last chance I will have to put down no monthly rental expense.

I want to build a relationship with Chase for my future CSP application, not to mention the Freedom + CSP + Checking potential. What better way!

I also received the offer for opening a checking account with direct deposit + $150 dollars on them. Should I switch from BoA!?

How do I find my CL!? Approved for $3,000 @ 18.99 APR!

Congrats on your approval. Chase app status (automated) : 800-436-7927 It should tell you your credit limit.

congrtats on the limit. it will grow trust me. i started out at $500 3 months ago and i just got a $1,000 CLI last week to bring me to a total of $1,500 limit now.

Super Congrats! Great card! The points will add up very quickly, especially with a checking account....CSP is just lagniappe (extra) icing on the cake. And believe it or not, that's actually a pretty decent APR for that card...congrats again!

What are your thoughts regarding switching to Chase from BoA? I have heard BoA closes cards often and I may want to navigate away from them (been a member since 2008).

If you're elegible to open a Chase checking you should do it. I've been banking with Chase for years and I am very happy plus with that Freedom card it only makes sense with the 10/10 bonus points with every purchase on your Freedom card!

congrats on the approval! my wife was approved, not instantly though we had to call the backdoor. Idk why it wasnt instant though all they asked was the name and some other security stuff and sure enough approved for 3000. Im glad for her Chase is a great bank it seems from reading on these forums.
