Barclay CLI.... Call?

I think it's month 6 or 7 so went online yesterday and put in for CLI. I have high util on it and others but I didn't get closure with the 10+ other INQ and accounts I added after it so I figured either they would Close it or grant the CLI... really was thinking they would close it!!! But just logged in and the account shows no changes... Then logged in to my credit monitor because I got alert for inq. but upon logging in it's the INQ for Navy... No Pull from Barclay.

So are they behind and it takes a few days?

Or do I need to call?

It'll be interesting to find out. I know Bofa *supposedly* does a hard pull, at least thats what I was told, however, upon talking to a credit analyst, since my CLI needed further consideration, I found out that it was just a soft pull. Never got an alert. Maybe Barclays is hit and miss as well?

If Barclays sees something on your account that it doesn't like (UTIL perhaps?), they won't even pull your credit. They'll just auto-decline you and you'll get a letter. Otherwise, you should expect a HP within a few hrs (M-F) of your app and a phone call confirming/declining your request.

No, Since I have not seen a credit pull and since my account currently is within $70 of credit line I had my 24 hour cool down to decide if purchase is right! and I need to walk away from this one for a minute... I probably wouldn't give myself a CLI right now if I looked at my credit.

Got letter yesterday saying it was declined based on current high balance of account and says they used TU but it must have been off an update or SP because I have not had a hard pull - so that's the upside I guess!

I asked for cli on apple barclaycard the same day it turned 6 months with a 600 balance on 1300cl. I swear i saw declined on the screeen and closed the browser and i said to myself i was gona close the card...but 10 mins they called me and told me i was approved for the 1000 cli i asked. I told them i saw declined and she said no you are approved. I was surprised but i guess barclay is weird like that

Once you're at that point it's time to make some changes.

Why? After the cli i went on a app spree and 10 accounts later i still have my apple card lol

I was told by the credit analyst at BOA that all CLI's unless auto are HP's.

I called Barclay for a CLI on my Apple Financing card - despite them ensuring me it would not be a Hard Pull (I asked 3 times for confirmation), they gave me a Hard Pull, and I was denied a CLI.
