WAMU CC Help!!!

I am interested in applying for the WAMU Platinum card after receiving several offers this week from them as pre-approvals. My FICO scores are all in the upper 600's with no recent baddies in over 2 years. I have an AMEX card with a $10,000 CL and another Visa CC account with a $1200 CL. Both of these cards are paid off. What are my chances of being approved for one of WAMU's cards with a decent limit? I live in NC, does anyone know who they pull from? Thanks.

They pull TU or EX

I say you have a decent chance- nothing is a sure thing with WAMU-

They were TU for me. Instant approval for 2k with about a 630 score. It's an ok card, nothing special. With your existing limits, you should get more than I did. I'm still the king of the 2k limit, unfortunately, though it looks like I'm rounding the corner.

You should get approve with ease. I got pre-approve a few months ago with a shorter credit history and lower credit score. I forgot who they pull for me. i live in NY

be careful if you ever had a providian or wamu account that went bad, they will decline for either.

I am assuming it is a hard pull to apply correct? I just dont want to risk getting into the Amex FR since they are on my side right now. Thanks for the help.

As a matter a fact about 5 years ago I had a Providian account which resulted in a charge off. It is all paid now, but that was before. Am I in their Blacklist book now?

i tried twice after receiving many pre-approvals and have been shot down both times. i had a providian about 12-15 years ago that went bad and my most recent decline was this month.

If it was paid- they should not black list you.

I have seen/heard mixed results.

AMEX is not going to get mad unless you got on an app spree and quit PIFing them.

WaMu hates me. I paid off my Providian years ago, had a few 30/60 lates, but nothing obscene. (I did close it with a balance.) I tried summer 06 and summer 07 after receiving the pre-approved bull poopie, both declines.

They're not going to get me this summer! Bruhahahahahaha!

travelguru I had a providian about 7 years ago that I paid after collect.I got a pre-approval from WAMU back in August and got declined. I applied again in December and got you know what declined. If I was you I wouldn't, waste the time it will cost you 0-7 point. Just move on, other cards are out their for you.
