I joined penfed I received my acc # and i only deposit 5 in a share acc do I need to do more. Trying to pay down my cap 1 card with lower apr.

yea make sure your scores are great! before you app for any cards!

What I am doing is transferring money on a weekly basis from my BofA account into my new PenFed account to establish a relationship with them. Down the road, I want to apply for their CC.

~ don't have a lot of recently opened credit cards/accounts

~ have little to no inquiries on your credit report.

They are NOT high inquiry & recently opened trade-lines friendly.
