Ive been with Discover for over 6 months and ask for $1300 more from my starting limit @ $1750.. No luck.

They may telephone you in a couple weeks. I applied for an increase online and was automatically declined due to inquiries and new accounts. Then a few days ago someone rings and says that the account is eligible for an increae.

Did they counter offer you at all? Is everythinb the same as when you got the discover?

I didnt get a counter offer and nothing has changed. No baddies or other lines of credit. I do have lower credit card utilization since I got them. I don't get it.

I called in for the CLI. Said they will send a letter in the mail to explain. Within 6 months I ran a $3000 through it. Never late and paid in full. My 2nd month I carried a balance because in 0% apr.

Discover is my oldest card and they haven't increased by CL in over 3 years and want me to wait until next year...

i realize discover took away my luv button. I think i hit it a couple months ago and they said it could not be processed. Tomorrow is the beginning of my sixth statement cycle, so we will see if i something happens in the next month.

Back in march when i was approved, they cited my BOA secured @ 600 as a reason they stuck me at 1K(other cards were 750 cap1, 1K paypal mastercard, 1.4K amazon store card) i wanted 1500 but they wouldn't budge. well now they are my lowest open card. and sock drawered.
