Behavior outside of the norm with AMEX is a good way to get a FR, I would advise against this plan,

1. I believe you have to wait 60 days after a decline before you app again.
2. I dont think amex uses the same exp model as chase and citi. Apps a few weeks apart with no change in report had radically different scores.
3. How would this help you? You would know what amex thinks your fico is, but in the context of a decline. If your score is 740, but you grt declined, what do you do with that information? If it is 670, but you get accepted, does that change something?
4. If you smack a tiger in the nose, please dont subsequently complain when it bites you.

It was just a thought I had. I app'd and got the Zync in June. Then on August 5th I app'd for the PRG, but was declined. It only cost me a SP and I also got a real EX FICO score which was from a SP they did on 7/28. I was under the impression a person could apply with AMEX every 31 days.

You can app 31 days after rejection. Personally I thever if gotten recently rejected (90 days), your next app with take a little ding with internal scoring. Also not sure if Amex score is pure fico. Might be a card enhanced or custom score for Amex.
