question about amex

So hopefully ill get a 3x cli on my bce in about 13 days. I was wondering IF i get the cli which should bring me up to 7500 id be able to use some of that cl to open a SPG? also i apped for the SPG last month and was denied and if they could use that app to open it? Thanks

More than likely it will be a hard pull (if approved) and soft if denied (as usual) I doubt they will use the same pull, they will use the last soft for the CLI on your BCE. Pretty sure they wont reallocate CL to open a new account.

I know its a SP for denials and HP if approved. I just wana know if they move credit to open a diff credit card. Bofa did this for me to open a new cc so im wondering if anyone has done this with amex.

No AMEX will not move credit lines to open a card, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news, your CLI isn't an automatic approval, the fact that you were denied for a card doesn't bode well for getting a CLI at 61 days. Amex can be nice to get you in the door, but can be very conservative at times.

Ah ok. I was approved for the goldpr right before apping for the SPG and month before that for the bce and green so maybe i pushed too much. But we'll see if i get the cli, i know its not auto approval.
