Wow UR points add up fast!

So I began using the Chase Freedom on 8/15 and my first statement just cut on 9/07.

I was excited to log in and see how many UR points I had acquired by swiping all my monthly expenses (except Grocery which is 2% w/ BoA 1-2-3). I was surprised to see this:

That is $188.16 in cash! Swwwwwweeeeeeeeeeet!

PS Anyone know when they give you the $100 for the $500/3-Month spend?

I completed my 500 spend on my sapphire(opened in august) in the first statement, and i got the signup bonus points right after the first statement cut, a couple days ago. So you'll probably get them at the end of the statement during which you meet the minimum spend.

Yes the do! My freedom is my everyday card. I have racked up 70K points....

The initial points are prolly reflective of your $100 start up for spending $500, they dont give you $100 cash but 10,000 points

Mint is showing my monthly spend is between $4-5k per month. I work the UR Mall pretty hard too.

Why save money? Seriously, the US government is inflating it faster than I can save it, so what is the point? In inflationary times the spenders are the winners and the savers are the losers. Don't believe we are in inflationary times? Pull up a chart on gold.

Eh, I've gone so long on not saving money and blowing it that I've stopped that and started to save. Makes you feel good knowing you have cash in case you need it.
