Just bit the bullet...instant approval NPSL ZYNC!!!!!! HURRAY FOR ME.

Also, I just applied for Delta Skymiles Revolver...its pending approval. When should I call recon?

a recon on a card after you become a member can result in a HP with denial rather than a SP denial, unless you can convince them to use the same HP, but I don't know how they are with doing that.

I got approved for a Delta Symiles and the applied fo the Gold...Denied. I believe they used the same credit report as i saw one inquiry from them on EQ...

I had a ton of baddies.

Sallie Mae Student loan 1x30 day (Dec 2010)

Sallie Mae Student loan 2x90 day (July 2011 and Nov 2006) -different account than the 30 day late

CO Verizon 2009 for $108 (paid)

Cap1 Auto complete mess (last late, 30x in March 2012). like 4 or so 60 days and 10x 30 days.

On other hand: My positives

26 accounts total on EX all perfect except the 4 above

AAoA over 10 years

Utilization 1%

DTI ratio 20%

5 years own my home

6 figure salary with 3 years at current job

Never had BK, judgment or lien...reports also no longer show any Collection accounts

3 months used AMEX paid debit card (For whatever thats worth) - pushed about 1k per month through it and never let balance fall below $50

I had nothing to lose. Circumstances are forcing me to get SBA-disaster loan and since I found out today that its an EX pull and that a sub 700 score actually gets me a better loan (yes...its backwards with government) I decided that my scores are as good as I can get them right now except for a successful GW, so I might as well app. My EX score is probably around 700. Worst case, I didnt get cards but got better rate with SBA.

I think my other factors allowed me to get AMEX cards. I'm not sure if I could get any other prime cards but with the ones I have right now and my CU products I'll be able to just garden those for a while and be very happy with them.
