Zync gone.....what cardshould i app for ..??????

Iwas going to app in june 2013 for zync....not going to happen now,......

bk will be 8 yrs.....what card shoul i app 4 ???

no negs on reports..1 inq on EX that wil be 1 + yr old...about 10% utility..

WOW, so you were gonna app for the ZYNC 7 years ago? lol just giving ya a hard time. Id say go for the Green, same U/W criteria, just a higher AF. Still worth it though IMO.

Have read this already....had my heart set on the Zync......maybe they will have a good replacment...

All the charge cards have the same U/W criteria basically. I would app for PRG since AF is waived for the first year and there is a sign up bonus, then when your AF is going to hit if you don't want to pay that much, downgrade it to the green (or whatever they replace the zync with, if they replace it with something).

IMO you should go for PRG. Better csrd than the Zync, plenty of reward potential.

It depends on how much they're spending. I wouldn't recommend the PRG unless someone spends a minimum of 20-30k per year, due to the AF.

Af is waived for green, gold, and PRG for the first year, so I would definitely go for PRG then after the first year, if I wasnt spending enough, downgrade to green.

Well, the question is: what would the place of Zync have been in your finances? What were the important factors for you?

Was it having an Amex, any Amex?

Getting rewards on home improvement purchases, or your cable and phone bill, or taking your suits to the eco-dry-cleaner?

Was it having a charge card, as opposed to a revolving credit card?

Was it being able to customize rewards as your lifestyle changes?

The other thread linked above on what can replace Zync pretty much covers the obvious answer: if you wanted a low-annual-fee charge card, the Amex Green is the new lowest. If your priority was on other things, what were those priorities?
