Should I combine Balances? Cap1 Cards

Hi All,

I've got two cap1 ccs....$1000/$500....I was wondering if i should try combining both balances? Both cards are in the cash rewards program. It would be most appreciated for any feedback. Thanks in advance!

Cap 1 does not allow card consolidation.

Oh ok! I've been looking around the forums, and apparently they did at one point. But those posts are over 2-3 years ago. So I guess they stopped!

Yeah, I tried this last month, CS rep denied me flat out. I even threatened to cancel and move my business elsewhere. Didn't work. I'm with Chase now. They helped me rebuild my credit so I can't bad mouth too much on them.
