Walmart CLI Question

I thought what the heck i would go for a CLI with my walmart card.It currently sits at $850 Ive had the card from June and Im pretty sure that i opened the card on the 10TH of June. so i called up and went through the automated system . I asked for $1500, it asked for my income , i said $40.000 Per Year.

It went silent and came back with i can not complete your CLI to your account at this time.. Does this mean i was denied , it said it would send a letter to explain within the next 10 business days.. or ... does this mean i had not reached my 4 th month mark yet???

Is it best to speak to someone or go through the auto CLI?

any help would be great

it means you were denied.

id call the credit analyst number in the backdoor thread.

i was denied through phone luv button as well.

then called the rep and asked from 800 to 3k. had card since jul 28(day of inq)

took down my info and would get a response in the mail.

well they granted it the next day(online check)

and then got the letter in the mail saying it was approved the day after i got the denial letter saying limit was too new.

besides my new cards income i told her was 32k. and i was planning on buying a couple tvs so my limit was not sufficent.

Yes, the backdoor is the safest way to go when CLI with Wally.

It gives you an edge over the automated system as you can recon if denied.

Thanks guys. just got a bump to $1500

hapy with that..

should i attempt my amazon card to the same ? $1500 its $1200 CL at the moment.. I got it the same day as my Walmart card. or should i ask for more , say like $2000? I had originally been approved for just $800 but the day i got approved with Amazon store card i called up and asked for $1200 which they granted.

just ask for what you need......and stay in good shape with it...that's the most important thing
