My AMEX BCP Acceptance Letter

They said my EX FICO was 702 (Fako was 681 at the time).

Listed the following detractors from FICO score:

Loan balances too high.

Account history too short (I have 2 cards that are less than 1 year old).

Too many recent inquiries (4 in last 2 years, 2 in last year).

Credit limits too low.

Collection / Derogatory status on account.

All that and I still got approved for a $10K CL.

Congrats on your approval and the excellent CL!! Geez, my Exp score is 704 and income is 80,000, and I got denied for the BCP. Had a 30 day late in Apr. 2011 and also a few recent inquiries. Will keep trying.

About $135K, had a mortgage for a year, last 30-day late was 3+ years ago. I've had student loans issued since 2005, no lates at all. A few 60+ that fall off my credit report by January 2013, and 1 collection that falls off in November.

Niiice! I got $3500 on BCE. Did you not have very much existing open cred? I feel like I'm to the point where I have too much avail cred, and that is why I got a lower limit... My TU Fico from Amex was 696. I might need to actually have some lines lowered to get that 3xcli everyone talks about on here lol... Never thought Id see the day when I'd considering asking for a CLD lololllll

No, didnt have much available. 2 sears cards about 85% each (just bought new appliances). My discover ($4K Limit) was reporting at about... 25% utilization, showing a high balance previously that was about 75%.

2 other cards less than 5% utilization.

List of reasons you didn't get a better rate just means you get a free copy of your credit score
