Highly Disappointed.

So before I apped for the Chevron/Texaco Visa I looked up where these gas stations were around my area. I had a few in my area, so I went to one today and its not there anymore. Tried another location, gone.

Called GE up and what do you know, they aren't in MD at all. Total waste of an INQ and account.

Only thing I can do is make purchases since its a Visa, and I guess since it's GE i'll get some CLI's but no rewards.

I have 15 total credit cards (7 bankcard / 8 store cards)

I have enough and really need to settle in the garden for 2 years. Really thinking about it I have enough credit to match my annual yearly income so I really dont need anymore.

HAHA um yeah I dont know how many hours I have spent playing GTA.. good stuff. and LS - If I were you I would be thanking the credit gods that you got approved for the visa version of the card and not just the store card! that truly would have been a disaster.

I did the same thing,got the walmart card for gas and score then found out that the pumps in front of walmart is for Sams club. Why did they put the pumps in front of walmart and not Sams club. I just read an article that walmart may build another store down the road from me. No more Walmarts. One store in my area is enough.

Chevron pulled out of the entire East and upper mid-south a couple of years ago. They run from FL/GA along the very southern edge of the US until they get out to the west, where they are everywhere. There are rumors they may acquire Hess, which could open them back up in the East coast......

Just an FYI- the WalMart CC is good at all Sam's Clubs and also nets you the gas discount at the pump.

I did the same thing googled chevys in my state (ky) got approved went to use it and the all changed.....looks like chev corp pulled out of ky in 2010
