Card Collection...

right now my card collection is somewhat complete in the senes that i now have every card possible i have amex discover visa and mastercard(debit). i would like other high cards llike CSP or a citi card but for now i am content on my set.

I'm missing Discover. I can't app any more till 2014 atleast.

I'm hoping this Christmas, Wal-Mart will upgrade my store card to Discover.

i mean by no means do i think i my collection is comeplete in the sense that i would like a CSP or other metal card or visa siggy card. i can at some point hopefully get my freedom into a visa siggy card and get a real mastercard. if it had to come down to it i think maybe just maybe i could use a citi card, CSP, or an AMEX credit card. but i am quite set on my current set up and i will garden for at least 6-12 months.

Wheeeew...you guys are still way ahead of me. I still dont have a Discover card, nor a world MasterCard, not even a visa signature....i feel bad now lol

In my opinion you are not missing anything without a Discover, but different strokes. our scroes seem high enough to obtain a World Mastercard or Visa Signature, I say go for it.

The only card that I would like is the US Bank Cash+. It seems they are sensitive to inquiries to I will wait until the beginning of the year or sometime in the spring. Sign up bonuses are fairly low right now; hopefully they pick up soon.

@navigate, im on my phone so i cant quote, but im right there with you! I really, really want the US Bank Cash+ card and i know our scores are good enough to obtain it but I, like you, have way too many Inq's on EQ so im just gonna have to wait. Even though its gonna drive me insane.

Driving me insane as well. I really just want to go ahead, but would have no use for the regular Flex Perks card. I am already getting 5% with cellphones, which is the only bill I have right now. The other one is department stores. Macys gives 3%, but you have to use it in a Macys store and I never go in the store . I just hope they do not get rid of the good categories and exchange them for useless ones like Citi usually has.

I need an AMEX...don't know which one to apply for though. My other cards complement all the rewards categories lol!

Im progressing nicely but still have a long ways to go. Here are the cards I have in order I got them and the cards I intend to app for between now and June.

1. Cap1 Secured

2. WF Secured

3. AMEX Zync

4. AMEX Delta Gold

5. Walmart Discover

6. Chase Amazon Visa

7. Chase Freedom

------on the radar for app spree ---

8. NFCU (probably in early Nov)

9. AMEX SPG

10. CSP

11. Citi Forward

12. AMEX BCP (maybe or maybe AMEX Gold/Plat charge card)

13. Discover card (maybe)

Cards 9-13 will be done after refi in June. Im wondering if my scores will be high enough for CSP. Guess I'll have to see where I stand at time of refi. All my scores should be over 700 by then.
