My credit has finally improved to the point where in the last 30-45 days I have been approved for a 1500 slate card 1000 walmart ge card and 1200 discover card.

Congrats...and no they wont go out of business with the fees they charge and people will always need to rebuild credit

They will if we let every young kid know about Secured credit cards which is what First premier basically is.... $179 annual fee and $200 limit openning balance of $21 usable.... it's a 90% secured credit card lol. I'm starting to volunteer to private schools soon to give them a crash course in credit only about hour long but it'll probably be one of the most useful hours in their lives if they listen LOL

shred that sucker!!! i make an extra point to shred every promotional mailing i get from those leeches. even when my credit was in the dumps i wouldn't even consider them as an option. congrats for kicking them to the can. the more business they get the more they validate their existance and their ability to screw you to the sticking places of credit hell.
