I have the amazon store card and want to try for a cli. Is there a number for amazon underwriting ? I can't find one anywhere. Thsnks

The card is serviced by GE Capital Retail Bank: 1-866-519-6441. You can also ring the number on the card:1-866-634-8379 and say you want to apply for a credit limit increase and they can tranfer you.

Call the number on the back of the card. It's an RVA. Say credit limit increase. It will ask you for your current income and what you'd like your total credit limit to be. Aim high so they counter you if the deny. If it's not available it will automatically transfer you to a live agent.

There's really no back door to GE...you can just call the number on the back of the card...go through the automated machines or request an agent and they will always be able to help you. The machine doesn't always grant the request so you'll usually speak to someone in the underwriting department.

I just called the backdoor number listed on this site (GE Moneybank: 866-519-6441 (Credit Analyst/Credit Solutions) a few minutes ago for my Amazon store card. I had requested a cli a week ago via the automated system. I received the paper today saying I was denied due to high balances in relation to credit limits. My utility is less than 5%. Anyway, took about 5 minutes and raised my limit another $1000. I had wanted to ask for $5000 to match my walmart, but she really did not give me an opportunity to even request an amount. It was really weird because when I called about 6 months ago it was much more relaxing. She was not the friendliest but she got the job done..lol. It was only a soft pull on TU.

You guys are rock. The 866-519-6441 number was the one I needed. Directly throught to an credit rep. This one actually spoke English lol. Went from 4100 limit to 10,000 yessssssss. That's the 3rd GE increase in 2days. Now NFCU needs to step up lol. Thanks for the help everyone.

Called the line for an increase at Lowe's due to an upcoming project. Denied through the automated systems and spoke with an underwriter with the same result. If I was denied Lowe's, I assume I'd be denied with Amazon?

Not necessarily. It's a soft pull so its worth the 10 minute call. Worst they can say is no. If you don't try you'll never know.

I just called in the automated system and asked for an increase and put in for an increase of $300 so my limit would go from $500 to $800 and the system came back and said yes they matched it! so i now got an $800 limit on Amazon, which now brings my total available credit for all my cards to $3100. This is awesome, that i've started with nothing and got this far in less than a year! this is so amazing. I would like to thank everyone here, if it wasnt for you i would not have gotten this far!

Ressurecting the dead to confirm that this number just bumped me from $2000 to $5000 CL in 3 minutes. Well worth the call, and my account was only 4 months old with an auto CLI a week earlier.

Wow 866-519-6441 is magic. I talked to two other GE employees unsuccessfuly about raising my credit limit today in addition to being declined online and decided to call 866-519-6441. Within ten minutes I had my credit raised, not to mention the person on the other line was American and extremely nice compared to the other two.
