American Express Chase and discover waiting time

I guys I barely join the forum couple days ago with my first credit card approval from keybank for the college MasterCard 300$. First inquiry as well. So I was wondering how long should I wait till I'm able to apply for an American Express card or. a discover more card
Or Disney card from chase those cards are my goals I want American Express for the travel rewards my friend has one and she gets points when she fly to New York . Discover more card. Because of the groceries and 5% cash back on some other things she does have the one as well and gets a bunch of discounts the card it's a must since I'm always shopping away at stores malls and groceries.. Now the Disney chase card it's perfect for me I love Disneyland and I have. premium annual pass and they offer the card a lot here in California for the discounts at both parks california adventure and Disneyland and since I'm new to credit I won't qualify for nothing at this point I wish I had a couple years with credit but I barely know about credit since a few days when I was approved by my first credit card. Thanks guy in advance for the help. Love this forum people is so friendly And kind to give advice to those who don't know a nickel about credit like me lol I will always come here before I do something credit related decisions .

Well I'm not an expert with credit but so far I got the discover more card with 6 months of history no late payments or bad stuff 6 nice clean months and they approve me for 750$ it's not much but I'm happy with it they will increase my credit limit witting 6 months that's what customer service told me . In my opinion just wait 6 to 7 months an then apply for best chances of approval on the discover I don't have chase or American Express some one else will answer about those I'm sure welcome to the forums

Six months is the generally accepted minimum for an Amex, but they don't currently seem to have a more student version of their cards. Income is definitely a factor which may be problematic if you are still in school (inferring from your post).

Yes I do have a part time job at the hospital near campus which give me an income of 28000$ last year you think that's a good income for starters ?? I will be graduating in 2 more years and will have a full time job at the hospital and my income will get bigger

Hey by the way 28000$. It's a good income for certain cards I think you won't have a problem to get those cards you want as long as you treat the one you already have really good and make payments on time remember that..... good credit takes time

I think 6 months to 1 year of good positive history with the key bank card will set you up for Amex and Discover. Chase Disney may be good after 1 year.

Just remember to pay in full and pay on time
