topic Chase Amazon question in Credit Cards

I was originally approved for a 400 CL but had to wait for approval, i recently called to get a credit increase and they increased me to 600 even tho i asked for 750. They said they would mail me the reason why my credit limit wasnt increased to what i wanted. In the mail the other day the reason for their only giving me 600 was as follows: you already have all the credit we can offer you. Is this for good? or until my income/credit score gets better. It was kind of misleading and made me not wanna use the card.

I am sure as you develop a good payment history, scores improve, etc that they will extend more credit.

Yes. I reached that internal limit when I double apped for amazon and freedom. (That's why I got the 1.5k limit on freedom). They said improve credit and establish a payment history with them and the internal limit would go up. Mine wasn't limited by income but by CR data. (I have a good income)
