Discover Recon Question

So I was looking for a card or two with a higher limit. I applied to Chase for a Slate card (fugured easier to get than Freedom) and Discover for an IT card.

They were both declined, and I found out there was inaccurate information on my EFX report (which Discover pulled). It is now fixed and my score jumped HUGE! I called Chase and they "refreshed" my CBR and I was APPROVED with a $5000 limit.

I called Discover and without even asking my name, they told me they could not do anything for 30 days. Should I try to call again or should I just let it go?

I would really like to use the IT card for the rewards, but maybe Ishould wait for the Slate to age first?

Did you speak with a credit analyst or a CSR?

Congrats on Chase, hope Discover comes around! I would definitely try more than once!

I called, they will not budge, spoke to a credit analyst. They will not update my report or reconsider. Oh well picking up my gardening tools.
