Sometimes it is also due to not getting the "best" terms of the card. So if you don't get, for example, a 17.99% APR, and instead get a 22.99% APR, they give you your credit score.

Going through some of my credit card stuff today. I know that if you are denied the (non)-lender has to give information about what led to the denial, including CRA and the negative factors and maybe a score. Is this optional if you are approved? With my card, Barclays listed my credit score from TU along with major reasons impacting score. I can't find any such thing from Fidelity and PenFed. Any idea why one lender will do this and others not?

Thanks

If you are denied or not approved at the best term like the post above states the have to issue the factors and a "credit score" that was used in their decision.....9/10 its not a FICO
