Like the title says, this was painless. I sent the request via the secure message center and had it done within a couple hours. I never bothered much with this card since I never get an increase but the rewards will pay off for sure. OAN, when I asked the rep about automatic credit limit increases, this is what she said...

Dear Xxxxxxxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting Chase regarding your inquiry.

I would like to inform you that effective 12/1/2011,
Proactive Credit Limit Increases are no longer being
offered.

However, I will be happy to process your request for a
credit line increase. In order to do so, please reply to
this email with the following information

I've seen a few on here say they got bumps without requesting so who knows what the real policy is.

The message posted said 12/1/2011, so if it is the case, it has already happened. Anyone got an auto-CLI since then?

Lol missed the 2011, well I would say that's not true considering I just got one a week ago.

My Freedom got an auto-increase from $3k to $4.5k last month. It was the only auto-increase I had gotten from Chase in 2 years of having a card of theirs.

That's good to hear. I'm at $3500 and hoping to get it up over $5K in the future. Been rebuilding and finally getting my scores over 700. I'm not in a hurry so I'll hit them up for an increase in spring if they dont do it. I've had the card since 07 and only gotten one increase.
