Ooops, I left the garden. :)

I did 3 months in the garden, and I broke my streak today. I could no longer resist Paypal (I assume this is backed by GE) sending me emails to apply for their Extras Platinum Mastercard.

The upside? Approved for $3,000. Now I have a Mastercard to complete my collection. Now my inquiries are up to 16. Back to the garden until October 2013. I promise.

edit: They pulled Tranunion and they say I have a credit score of 700!!!!!!!!! I'm in the 700 club!

GE is very nice with CLI's, remember to ask for one every 4th statement cut.

That's an amazing increase. Congrats, you deserve it.

What kind of fertilizer are you using in this garden to go from a 491 in Oct '11 to the 700 club in a year? That's over 200 points in a little over 12 months.

I have a few cards with low limits and no other debt. Do you get a few loans or did several baddies fall off of your report in the past year? What did you do?

Congrats!! I'm wanting to add a mastercard to my "collection" as well. I'll be in the garden for a while but when I come out, I was thinking about either the paypal mc or maybe FNBO since they were so giving on my amex cl with them
