    <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't believe you can backdate a credit account, unless you call your creditor and ask them to change it but it is not likely. You have the option of becoming someone else's Authorized User, like your parents or someone else you know with a longer credit history. If not, I recommend waiting until you have a year's worth of credit and reduce your credit balances to under 15% to increase your scores above 700. Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, i have only 6 months history&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have a walmart card, wells fargo, capital one and amex gold charge card&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to apply for a car loan in january, i just got my first fico score this month (you can see them in my signature)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Should i first apply in january for an amex revolver so it could be backdated to january 2012 and make my history look like it's 1 year old ? will that help me? will my history actually become 1 year old ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
