Is AMEX app's messed up?

I was curious where I currently stand with AMEX since 2mths ago they denied me for only my FICO score. So I was going to attempt to apply for the Green card. I clicked on the "shorter app" where I could just enter in my current card info and submit that way because every other time I did it the way by just clicking apply now and enter in my CID # it would just get stuck "thinking" and i would have to close the window.

Well anyway I app'd and it went to a screen and it stated that this offer is not longer available and i needed to follow the link to apply for the current offers. It just takes me to the generic credit cards page, and when I click to apply for any card it prompts me to fill out the standard app that people have to fill out if they weren't current cardmembers.

Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.

Are you currently a card member? The short app way is only for current card members.

They have A LOT of problems with their online app site.

yeah....maybe it's just a sign. I'll just hold off and not worry about it for now. I know it's only a SP, but I'll just hold off til January to see where I'm at with them.

I've noticed they pulled their pre-approval link and their 'short-app' link for card holders. They must be having some technicial difficulties or something.
