My New Scores After Dropping Wamu

This is part 2 from my other post that went sour. My new scores after closing out 2 Wamu cards. Folks talk about closing cc means increasing uti, but it didn't do much of an inpact on my scores. Also closed out my Hooters card with 5k cl as well. Have no time for lame starter cards.They refused to lower my apr. from 17.9. Prior to closing cc my scores were as follows,

02-11-08 EQ 739 EX 751 TU 732

Just pulled my fico scores after wamu reported both tls closed,

02-20-08 EQ 745 EX 755 TU 736 Not much of a change in scores since my uti stays the same.

Will post new scores at end of month after hooters and juniper report my closed TLS.

Nice scores, orl! Hopefully you didn't do too much damage on your "subprime slaughter." Keep us posted.

Ty wiseguy, As you read from my other post about this same issue. other members were positive that my scores will dip.... WRONG!!!!!!

Hopefull they will go higher, or I will wait for them to rebound. I'm aiming for the 800 club..... By end of this year I promise

MV, you may be right on this one. Only time will tell. Wamu is calling me to reconsider my cc closures. I don't understand one thing about them. I asked CSR about my Pfico scores not updating since tl was opened on 11-07, Rep told me that is not a real concern with my cc. It may be a concern with CB....

Sorry - I meant that I don't remember people saying your scores will drop - I don't think they necessarily will.
