Hi,

I would like your input on regards a concern I have about walmart credit card statements. Basically I have had their credit card since Nov 14, 2012. I have yet not seen a statement posted online or mailed out to me. I contacted their customer service department and the bottom line is that they say in will post next month. This does not make any sense. Other times they say statements do not post if their is a $0 balance. By the way I have used the card and pif within a few days after.

Any suggestions why the statement is not posting? Do you think is not even reporting to my credit score.

I've gotten exactly 1 statement mailed to me and posted online and that's because I had a credit on it. If your balance is zero, you will not get a statement, whether mailed or online. Walmart still reports monthly to the credit bureaus, but no statement with a zero balance.

i can confirm!

ive had my card since july, both walmart and ae.

ive only recieved one statement since july. and it was when i let a balance report.

It seems like more and more credit cards are doing this... at least from what I see. Anyone else noticed this too?

That's interesting. My walmart card always sends a statement even if the balance is zero.

I always PIF too and I'm wondering does this play into the decision to auto CLI. If a statement is not being generated does u/w know that you've been spending money on the card? I keep hearing that at the 4th month statement that some people get auto CLI. But if you don't generate a statement does that still happen?

I always get my CLI at 4 months. Most months I do not get a statement and that does not seem to matter.
