      <description>I have 2 cards. Cap one platinum 750 limit and a walmart discovery 1000 limit. What would be a good balance to be reported for each of my cards? And do they combine the balance to get your utilization rate at the end of the month?</description>

They do both combine for your util, but I've read here that it is optimum to carry a small balance (under 9%) on only one card.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Keep it as low as possible! But keep 'em active. I'd say def stay under 30% total on all lines....&lt;BR /&gt;But aim for &amp;lt;10% for optimal scoring...</description>
