I'm wondering about the likes of JFCU, NFCU, Penfed, Patelco, NASA, DCU, CCCU, Addison, etc.

Are they known to do frequent ARs like some other lenders I won't name?

*coughAmexcough*

I am going to guess that you're asking because you are curious about possible adverse action?

If so, credit unions are far less likely than major credit card companies to take AA against you as a result of something on your credit report. I have yet to hear of someone's account being closed of their credit line decreased due to AA as a result of something popping up on their credit reports.

To answer your question directly though, I do not believe they do very many ARs. I have checking and savings accounts with both Penfed and OCTFCU. I opened Penfed in September 2007 and they have not done any ARs on me. I opened an account with OCTFCU in November 2007 and they have only done 1 AR on me so far.

YMMV though.
