How my recent App spree hurt :)

Ok so I pulled my scores in dec sometime it shows them in my sig anyway I figured I would show everyone how my app spree went I will list which cards i appd and got approved and show you the score drop from just the inqs, the new cards haven't hit my reports yet but i'll be sure to update when they do as well fun little test

Amex Clear: December 14, 2007 $3200
Wamu Plat: December 19, 2007 $1500
---Chase Visa: December 19, 2007 asked for CLI of $1500 from my $500 but they only ---allowed 700 total
Amex Blue: December 21, 2007 $2200
Chase Trump: December 23, 2007 $2000, I applied for this because they pissed me off
Citi Diamond: January 19, 2008 Approved but need to confirm my identity so i need to mail stuff soon

my current scores as of 01/24/08 are TU:689, EX:699, EQ:672
currently I only have a Chase visa $700 and a capitalone $500
I will pull my ficos after I see the new accounts listed on my TC account and update this

Ok so to update this thread a little bit, almost all my new accounts have posted to my reports except i'm still missing two amex accounts on my EX, but all the recent cards I got have shown up on TU and EQ so here are the results...

so am I to understand that your scores actually went up after the new cards posted?

I too recently had credit app fever. My scores were as of 2/24

TU 677, EXP 674 and EQ 633.

I got a Chase at 3500, turned down by Citi and Amex. outright.

Go figure. Anyway, my credit limit just more than doubled.

Will that benefit me or not?

When will I reach the magic 720?

Hey, bman, very nice bounceback! I'm hoping to see the same on my end. So far 4 inqs have posted, and one of the cards, and not a single score change. That's completely unexpected (by me, at any rate.)

thanks for the support, I went from 2 cards with a total limit of $900, to 8 cards with a total limit of around $12600, also cap1 is the first card ive ever gotten and is still at its same limit when I first got it $500

Before the app spree
Chase Visa $400
CapitalOne $500

After spree
Amex Blue $4400
Amex Clear $1000
Citi Diamond $1000
Chase Trump $2000
Wamu $1500
BOA World Points $1500
Also Chase Visa I asked for CLI of $1500 but they only put it to $700
all my scores should be around 700+ but i'll be sure to update EX once amex hits those reports

Those are some prime cards you got with lots of room to grow! Take care of them and they'll do the same, don't forget ask for a few CLI's here and there!
