Funding A PAYPAL Debt Card with a Credit Card ...

I have a PayPal debt card that pays 1.5 % when its used as a credit card! Also I can add a credit card to the account so i can use it without putting the Cash into the account. What i want to know, If i add a Credit Card to the account, how will it CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD ??? Will it be a Cash Withdrawal or a Regular Charge on my Credit Card. The reason i am asking this is for the added cash back 5 % cash back on my CC and 1.5% cash back on my paypal debt card. Can this be done??????

I think the paypal debit card is only 1% cash back. And im pretty sure it would count as a cash advance, not sure though.

I have had my card over 10 years and i was able to keep my 1.5% cash back....... A few years back they changed that to 1% with new accounts. So yes its 1% now

I was just trying to find a way to get the added 1.5%........... But i won't do it, with the cash advance!!!!

I think you can only link a Paypal Mastercard CC as a backup funding source for the Paypal Debit Card. It doesn't allow any non PP CC in my case unlike the main Paypal account which can have any combination of bank accounts and CCs.

Do you actually get a choice to link any CC ? Try a small transaction to see if it is treated as a purchase or CA. I think it will be purchase since main Paypa accounts work as purchase for CCs.
