Ultimate Rewards experts, one final question

Is there a benefit or better combination regarding what card you pair with the CSP? I'm going to app with Chase today. I'm going to go for the CSP and INK/Freedom. Tips are greatly appreciated.

Your rewards account is separate until you call them to transfer over the awards.

I have an Ink Cash and CSP so I transferred my CSP UR points to my Ink Cash because one account had more than the other.

Yes I am a business owner. But I am not 100% sure you can apply without a business even though you put your SSN an sole proprietorship. When I was approved they asked me how long, revenue, future rev and employees. I was approved for $8K.

If the Freedom card is anything like the JP Morgan Select card, on the statement when you log in to the Chase site, you'll see Ultimate Rewards for both the CSP card and (other-don't know about Ink) card. There will be 2 different rewards numbers. But there's also an option to combine the rewards on line at the Chase site. I recently did that, moving my JPM Select points to CSP points since I have more on CSP. Working on that free trip to New Zealand on UR points !

Is is actually a relatively simply process! I have the basic Sapphire and Freedom, but in your log-in the rewards tab on the right will show your total UR points. Once you click on it, it will show you your cards and their appropriate points. Next to each card is two options: Go to UR OR combine points. Clicking the combine points will allow you to transfer those point values to any card of your chosing in the UR program.

So, for example, I only have about 3-- of rewards on freedom, but 103-- on my Sapphire. When I get to the UR per card screen, I would click combine points next to freedom, chose the amount of points I would like to transfer and to what card (my only option is Sapphire), and done! instant transfer! then from there I just click "Go to UR" next to sapphire and I'm good to go!

Ink Bold is a great combo to have

with buying gift cards at retailers it's relatively easy to max out your $1,500 quarter limit for $6,000 or 30k points a year. With Using Ink Bold average person can easily rack up 30k a year as well on cable internet cellphone and landline bills alone.

Sapphire is great for restaurants and travel, but Ink cards can be better

sign up bonuses galore! it all depends on what you want to use it for, if you want to use it for travel Mileage plus card with Chase United card might be better, since you get 50k points and 5k for adding authorized user and another 10k for spending 15k in a year for total of 1.4 points per dollar spent at 15k annual spending. which isn't hard

you can still apply for it, business and personal cards are processed differently. Chase doesn't usually like to approve 2 personal cards at once but they usually do, and there are reports of people getting Chase Freedom Sapphire AND Ink at the sametime. Doesn't hurt to ask, and if you have a good limit on your Freedom card Chase will usually allow you to move your credit limits around. For instance if you have a 5k limit on your Freedom you can take $2,500 out of your Freedom limit to make a $2,500 Ink limit card.
