Why does Paypal MC tempt me so??

I have really been wanting to add a mastercard to my lineup but am trying very hard to be good. I logged in to paypal a few minutes ago and they had the app right there for me to see. I clicked on it just to look and all I had to fill out was income, last 4 digits of ss and bday. Can they make it anymore easy and tempting to me??? I just got in with Amex so I don't want to risk aa. The temptation is soooooo hard!!!

I don't really need it. I want a mastercard to add to the mix but I know if I wait until later this year, I can get a better mc with a high limit. I just love the instant gratification of instant approvals....lol But I don't want anything to mess up my 3x cli with Amex next month

Also you need to set a personal goal !!!! Like me i want all 3 of my scores over 800, thats my goal. I know if i app it will take me longer to get there.

I have one- and it is nice to be backed by GE (CLI ) BUT IMO you are looking to increase an existing credit with Amex -wait. PayPal will approve you when you are ready and that CL will be much higher after you get your increase.

Especially since its an easy mastercard to obtain and its rewards arent bad at all but like you said you can get a even better MC. soo just wait until the time is right and youll see how your waiting was WORTH IT. Think about another MC thats difficult to obtain and that will REQUIRE you to be patient in order to obtain it

I'm going to force myself to wait. I finally got an increase on my amazon card this morning so that should satisfy me for the time being *lol* I like the rewards that the paypal mastercard offers and I like that it's backed by GE. Amex has given me my highest limit on the BCE and I will be taking that with me on vacation this summer but I want another card from a different place that will grow quickly to have as a back up just in case. I know the Paypal card will do that faster than any of the other ones I have. My boa will not grow that high. Hopefully Discover will do something at the 6 month mark. Once my Amex cards post, Discover should see it right around the 6 month mark and hopefully they will balance chase.

I can see that....everytime I log in to paypal, the add is staring at me!! *lol* It's like it begs me to click it and it's such a condensed app!!!

Are there any good benefits to having this card?

I've never really looked at MC too closely. It always seemed very similar to Visa to me and I already have 2 of those.

@bobebob You can earn points with purchases and you can connect it with your paypal account to use for online purchases. I don't know why mc is so often less used.

@hindsight This card really calls to me more and more each day.....lol
