what card i should apply

hi so far my credit history is on 3 months.

i manage to have

capital one secured $200

discover more $750

chase freedom $500

i am looking for citi simplicity card next. so i need advice how can i get one citi bank credit card with good limit.

as i am new what credit card i should apply next anyone please...........

my TU score 646 now.

i got chase freedom with very small limit with 3 months of credit history.

at first they denied than after recon they approve me.

You have to be a matriculated student to be approved for a student card. Some applications even ask you to fax/scan/email proof of enrollment.

I think you are good for now, a fourth card with a 3 month history is too much. Plus, you already have two prime cards.

Usually a FICO score cannot be generated until 6 months of history. Is this FICO or a FAKO?

Any who GE is easier than CITI.

You only need 3-4 cards to maximize your FICO. So you seem to have a good mix right now

oh yes, I just saw how many posts you have with same interior question... Glad you found the boards early in your credit journey but something you will learn quickely is you will get lots of feedback, especially when you give specific questions, many of us are here way to many hours a day to admit so you won't need to repost your whole credit background "always" in each thread... maybe up in options put your score, 3 accounts, and 3 months history, then if more info needed you will get specific questions or thoughts to get you best answer...

I got the two in my sig. So far denied for Citi Simplicity denied for Chase Freedom. I am not surprised about this however because my credit is bad.

...and yet they won't give me a credit card of any type with 700+ FICOs, 9+ years of AAoA, and a 3-years dated BK7 that didn't burn them (never burned them).

The times may have something to do with it. That WAS when banks were throwing credit at people like candy. Were I to apply today under the same circumstances, I highly doubt I'd be approved.

I too have short credit history and was denied for Chase Freedom. I called recon thrice but always was denied. It's been a month since I applied but I havent received any letter from them.

OP I would advise you ro let these prime cards age a bit before going after Citi. You may get approved but at a toy limit.

this is strange........after 3 times recon denied and NO LETTER?????

what i think my friend call them and ask them EVEN ITS A SMALL CREDIT LIMIT you want to start with chase freedom.

you already have some good card and good limit................best of luck mate.
