TJMaxx -Store Card Upgrade Question???

I have a Tjmaxx store card that I did a CLI to $1200 today online. I notice that I can upgrade to a Tjmaxx master card. My question is should I do it? Is it better? Should I upgrade to the Tjmaxx master card or just keep my TJMaxx store card?

I have 5 store cards: Old Navy $500, Macy's $500 (did CLI on this last week), Target $200, Amazon $1700 (got this 2 weeks ago). Credit Cards: I was approved for Discover IT card today, 2 Orchard Bank master cards both $300 (I asked for a CLI. they said wait until the 14th?), CU Visa Card $500.

As you can see I'm trying to bring up my CLI on all my cards.

They told you to wait for a CLI on thr 14th for Orchard Bank??? Any indication why? Sorry dont mean to thread jack but mine just got unsecured so thats why im wondering!

I would say upgrade the TJMaxx. Usually the cobranded cards will allow you to reach a higher CL than the store cards!

Is tj maxx GE? I dont know about all of their cards, but walmart upgrades mean a new account on your reports.

Hi daybreakgonesXe,

They said it was a Capital One decision regarding CLI. But she said as of Feb 14th I can call in about my CLI because Capital One will have a decision by than. I of course do not believe it but that what she told me on Monday.

Id say yes do it! Especially since you can now use it wherever MC is accepted. PLUS the cli.
