I doubt it. 3 different lender changes in a span of a year? They might as well take it off as an option or make it GE. Lol . Chase had it then HSBC then CRAP1 now citi... Something must be wrong with it.. Just my opinion

I think they were losing money on the subprime. Chase had it for a while and those were Circuity City store card. I hope Citi will run the program better than HSBC.

Idk, I closed it. I'd be shocked if it turned into a prime card. I cancelled my toys r us when they were with chase then they switched to GE and now I regret closing it ( because of how generous they are with CLI)

Some like Citi. Some don't. It is one of those YMMV thing. Citi were good back in earlier 2000. Anyway, they are much better than HSBC. I hpe they're not going to my store card because I have both store card and M/C and my store card got $30K CL.

I have had the card for almost ten years. I clicked CLI button every six months. They bumped $2500 each time. I bought a few big thin such as purchasing a TV, a couple of laptops and washer. I paid on time. I always took advantage 0% promtion. I nver paid oen cent of interest.

They just changed the design of the card last Dec. They were wasting money to issue the cards. Oh well, it's business. They make it back. I hope it will be PayPass/ Global Chip (EMV) card.
