I gotta be careful with HSBC.

I have a HSBC Cash or Fly MasterCard with a 1,350 dollar limit. Now I have used this card for cash advances (I know, not a good idea) and paid them back almost immeditately. Now I have only received one CLI from them on this card and I have asked for others (I know I need to be patient and let them give CLI's automatically). But instead of giving me CLI, they raised the amount of cash available to take on the card up to the limit. TRAP. TRAP. TRAP. I did have to take a couple of cash advances on my vacation out of the country and that may have gotten their attention. I just noticed this change when I checked my account this morning. This card will marinate for a hot minute.

It appears that they only cli you every 6 months. And they stick to that timetable like glue! At least that's the way it's been with me.

Yeah, they arent budging. But I am glad that the card now has a zero balance on it. Gotta be patient.

Patience is one of the hardest times dealing with in this credit insanity.

Patience is a virtue.....virtue is golden. And gold is $1,000 an ounce. Can I put that on a cc?

You could not afford enough gold to transform it into virtue. Besides don't you already have some virtue.

Since I only know you from the posts that I have seen on here I can only guess as to the amount of virtue that you have. Besides what is small to a Texan is huge to everybody else.
