I like the way you think. You have an optimistic view of things and seem to take rejection well. Keep working on those reasons of denial and when you least expect it you'll be instantly approved for the card you want with a big fat cl. Good luck!

Chase Freedom app. Which fico score?

I was recently rejected for Chase Freedom. I was very interested to receive the rejection letter in the mail. Actually sincere I have embarked on my credit repair campaign, rejection letters excite me because they offer a lot of information for me to learn from. The from page of the letter offered 3 reasons why I was rejected and the back side offered 4 more. They were kinda the same but rephrased. They also said that they got my score from Experian. I assumed at the time that it was a Fair Isaac V2 score but now when I go back and look at it there is guidance after the score and the guidance says that the score is in a range to 990. That makes me think they were using a Vantage score. Any insight from the gurus here?

Thanks for the info. I have tried a recon and they said no. I will try again soon. I know what I need to do to be approved and I'm working on it. I am not giving up.
