GIve them a couple of months of posted statements paid then make a run. Or if you have spotless credit with mid to high 700's do it now.

After I was approved for gold delta, I applied a week later for the BCE and was declined.

I would recommend you wait. From reading posts on here it appears that too many apps too soon might get you either declined or FR'd.

Just my humble opinion.

I held my Gold PR card for a little over a year (~13 months) before applying for their Clear card; Waited a couple of months and applied for the Blue Cash card.

I would apply and if you get denied, call in to gold card account services and ask them to have underwriting review your application manually.

I applied about an hour after getting my Zinc, approved for both. Sub 700 scores.

I got my BCE back in june '12. A week after that i got my Green and a month after that i got my GoldPR. My ex scores at the time were 675.

I held the Zync for 10 months before apping for the Lowes Amex, then after I was approved for Lowes I apped for PRG

I got the Delta gold, then only held out for 5 days before succumbing to the temptation to app for the BCE. Approved.

I applied for AMEX gold...APPROVED.....5 mins later i applied for Blue Cash .....APPROVED......with only 1 HP

Within a week of getting approved for my PRG I decided to go ahead and applied for the BCE thinking just one hp for both app since I got approved for the PRG just a week apart, and well I got approved for the BCE too. So you don't necessarily have to wait too long.

I waited 5 months, to get year of backdating. I could have app in Jan, but waiting on some stuff to update and report. I apped in March and got the BCE.

I applied for Blue Sky on Jan. 2 and then applied for BCE 3 weeks later....approved for both. The csr told me that people do it all the time because of the different rewards so it was no big deal. The reason she said that is because I asked if it was ok before I put in the app.

I have a questions related to this. I got approved on a single pull from EX only for the Green charge on the 22nd of this month. If i went and applied for a revolver and got denied, will it be a SP only? or will it be another set of HP or HPs for the revolver if denied anyways? I know if i get approved it will be HP. I just wanna make sure i dont get HP all over again for either approval or denial.

If your profile is strong enough to qualify for AmEX revolver you dont have to wait, if it is not wait 3 - 6 months to generate some history. I was approved for 3 AmEX cards in a space of few days last month.

if you are logged in to yoiur Green account when you apply for the revolver, yes. it will be a SP for a denial
