They allow you to revolve but it has no pre set limit like the Charge Accounts.

To optimize the 5% savings you have to spend quite a bit of money or else it's like 1 or 2% I believe (check amex site in small print to be sure)

don't know how hard it is to get though.

So, again, no real rush to get this card, but eventually the only card I want to have and use is a American Express.

I don't care about 'rewards' or other stuff. This one has a savings account attached, and that seems like about the only thing I might be interested in. I though I wanted a normal 'green' card, but I guess a little flexibility with carrying a balance is a good idea.

I took the short q/a on their site, and got this 'One' card.

What is the collective experience with this card? How hard to get etc?

Thanks
TBR

I don't spend much, that may change in the next year or so. I could see running business expenses through it.

I think, once I get to the AMEX part of my life, I will be mostly done with credit cards. I will just use it, and ignore the others. One backup card, and thats it. My thought anyway. So, I would envision spending ~$700-$1000 per month, and PIF.

TBR

After first year, there is an AF on this card. Make sure your rewards off set the cost of AF on this card.
