for those that had success with cap one EO?

i recently had cash rewards added to my visa platinum but was told i would not get the green cash rewards b/c i was not eligible for 50% bonus just 1% cash back on purchases. the rep did not say anything about sending a new card.

for those of you that have had a similar experience, did u receive a new card automatically or request a new one? if so, did it look the same after having rewards added or did you end up with a green cash rewards card eventhough the rep said it wasn't the same?

Unless your card was PC'd into another card (ie. Visa Platinum to VentureOne), they will not send you a new card, even if they add cash rewards or miles to your account. You will keep the same account number and card. I personally experienced this when they added miles to my Visa Platinum. They sent me the same card I already had when I requested it; but when they upgraded my account to the VentureOne, thats when they sent me a whole new card.

EO = Executive Office
