When did you app for a CC with NFCU?

I just opened an account with NFCU last week. I was wondering how long did you guys/gals wait until you app'd for a CC with NFCU? Also, did you app for a NavCheck at the same time? How much money did you transfer into your account before app'ing?

I app'd as soon as I was able to open the account (back at xmas). I only did the CC then and I just app'd for a CLI and the NavCheck two weeks ago. So not quite 3 months did I wait after opening to apply for the CLI and Navcheck.

As for the amount of money....I think I have 10 bucks in the savings and 30 bucks in the checking that I just leave in there. I don't do my primary banking with them.

I apped for the CC after receiving my online access and seeing the pre approval banner. That was in march 2012.
I apped for navcheck in Sept 2012.

I app'ed the next day after membership. I only had $5 deposited for the membership.

I wish NFCU had branches close by me.

Yeah, I feel the same. I would love to make them my main bank.

About 20 mins after joining (on the phone), I went into the branch to fund the account and applied for the card, instantly approved for 7k.

called on the phone,opened my checking/saving,then applied for the CC right after without even having the min. 5$ deposit

Most people app right after opening their accounts. I waited 2-3 weeks because I was fresh off of bk7.

I applied for their credit card 3 days later and only had on my checking $15.00

Same here, fresh out of bk, apped three weeks after opening and after my dd started.
