When does Amex Plat Card reports?

When does Amex Plat card reports? My statement was cut on Feb 17. It did not show up on any of my CR's yet. When I can expect this to show on my CR's? Hopefully once it appears my Account Age will increase and I might see a boost on my Scores.

Say it takes a year to report. Now, does FICO see it as a new account, or does it see it as an account that you've had for a year?

I doubt it will take a year to report, but if it did, FICO would go by the date it was reported opened, not by the date it was first reported. So it would not count as a new account in that case.

If and when my plat reports, it should report as 1/95 that is when I got my first card. It would give a boost to the average age of my accounts. Hope it will report some time soon.

What month did you get the Platinum? Thanks to a discovery by Timothy, we have learned that new Amex cards report with an open date with the same year as your original card, but with the month the actual card was opened. So if your Platinum was opened in Dec, for example, it will report as opened 12/95.

My Optima reports as 1/95. I would think my Platinum would also report as 1/95. Let us wait and see. We will know once it reports.
