Macy's CLI from $200 to $400

I talked to Macy's, they increased my limit from $200 to $400. I guess I have to call them back again in 3 months from now for next CLI. Hopefully I want to have all the cards with at least $1k CL. Looks like it is going to be a long way before I reach that goal at this rate.

What's that trite phrase?...A penny doubled....$400 to $800 to $1600 to $3200 to $6400 to $12800.......In just over two year's time you'd see 6 figures!

Lol... Just cant wait..... I wonder, how many Suites I can buy at Macy's with that CL.. ....

how much have you charged on your card? i've had my macys since jan havent charged anything yet, started with a $300 cl hope to get it increased but i know i'm gonna have to charge something and pay it off in full or leave small balance

i went to Macy's in December for the first time and liked the clothes they offered.i applied online the next night and got approved and used the number to buy some really nice shirts. i found out today from a cr that i need to make 3 on time payments for a cli and use it more and it will pay off.

Congrats on the cli concord! WTG!

I think they operate similarly to JCP. The more you spend with them the more frequent the cli's come.

I am not sure if we can compare Macy's with JCP though. I started Macys with $200 and JCP with $800 at the same time. When I asked JCP CLI they increased it to $1800. Macy's increased it to $400. I have spent almost same amount of money on both cards. I think JCP is much more generous with CLI.

I received my Macys card early August 2007 ($400 cl) and did not use it until 12/12/07. They ran my first bill that day!! I was supprised! But on the next bill (Jan 12) they gave me an auto-cl of $200 raising it to $600. I was happy again and bought another sportscoat.
