They pull EX as well, right? I am in Los Angeles, California.

The other thread about 5% on Amazon for the Cash+ is tempting me.

I have 10 on my experian for the last 2 years. 1 will fall off this may and Wells Fargo already requested with CRAs to remove 1, so I will be left with 8. 1 was for my Amex, 2 for chase and 5 due to an auto loan in feb.

I also have a new account (auto loan) that reported in may. Not sure of that's going to be an issue with us bank. However statement just cut and it will soon reflect I only owe about 5% of original loan amount.

If I app for this I won't app for citi for now I'm tempted because last year alone I spent at least 30-40k on amazon! That's a lot of rewards if I do get 5% haha

Too tempting!!!! Lol

Oh and my eq and tu are almost pristine. 1 on eq and 2 on tu for the past 5+ years!!! These 2 CRAs are like my useless ones :/

I'll let you know if they are inquiry sensitive. I just app'd for the US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature card wtih 12 inquiries on my TU which they pulled yesterday. Now 13 thanks to them. 4 or 5 due to an auto loan.

I called the underwriter backdoor number and the CSR said due to inquiries the app had been sent to underwriting for manual review. Said to call by Thursday or Friday.

While I do now have 13 inquries across the board on my reports, I have 4 reported closed accounts, and 10 more to be reported when the CCC's get around to it.

8 open CC's. If approved for this, I will close my old cap1 account keeping me at 8.

I just opened a US Bank card in October, I applied online. I am in WA and they pulled Experian for me. At the time of applying, I had 8 inquiries in the last 2 years, 5 from the last year. I was approved. The card I opened was a Fred Meyers Visa, through US Bank, but do not believe that makes a difference. Unsure though.

Were they all for credit apps? How many inquiries did you have in total for past 12 months, and how many in past 24 months? Thanks for sharing! I probably will wait then haha

The auto play no role on the denial and they just stated to many inquiries in the last 12 months

Maybe you should let them know about your recent success with Amex. Since you can't apply for another 90 days- see if they will accept a recon with an updated CR?
