Where do you get the best service?

After the last couple of days of thinking, Where is you get the best customer service for your credit card? You bank account? Any type of loans?

I've ranked my cards by customer service somewhere before it went something like this:

1. CHASE BY FAR

2. Discover

3. Amex

4. Citibank

1,765,456,321,543. Crapital One

Crap I somehow forgot BoA, after I applied for the Merrill+ (owned by BoA now) I was approved and they were really good about closing my 1-2-3 rewards card and transferring the limit to the Merrill+

1. CHASE STILL BY FAR

2. BoA

I think I'm the virtual opposite of most users on here, as my best service ranks:

1. Bank of America

2. Citi

3.Discover/Amex (tied)

50,002,394. Chase

I don't like all of the loopholes you have to jump through to get anything done with Chase, so I use my Freedom card for balance transfers and 5% CB. All other general spending gets routed to my BCP (and soon to be Travel Privileges).

#1: Discover. I've dealt with them by phone and over secure message and the people I spoke with were both very kind and knowledgeable.

#2: Chase. Great on the phone but I've gotten conflicting info from CSR's through secure message. They were very apologetic once they found out I had been told incorrect info, though.

#3: Amex. I've only talked to them over the phone. Nice CSRs but not very personable. Heavily scripted.

N/A: Cap1. I have a card with them but only put about 1 charge every 6 months on it. Haven't talked to anyone over the phone or through secure message so I can't speak for their CSR team.

#1 Discover: By far the best I've delt with so far.

#2 Chase: Very personable folks, easy peasy to get straight answers from

#3 BOA: I haven't really talked to them much over the phone, but have always had super excellent service through secure messaging, they seem to be quite knowledgeable.

#4 Cap1: This shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone. No offense to anyone, but I can never understand their non-english speaking CSRs and they are the script kings!

3. Citi/Amex (Everything but the Zync)

Worst:

1. Capital One

2. Target (Not sure why they even had CSRs)

3. Amex Zync (Extremely long wait times & foreign reps that were hard to understand)

1) NFCU- Best overall Customer Service hands down!

2) Chase- Friendly and helpful especially during RECON

3) USAA- Awesome auto insurance CSRs

4) Discover- Friendly and I like how they are all based in the US

5) Amex- Friendly and helpful CSRs cant understand them sometime though

Ditto for me. I have had outstanding service from Capital One with the same card.
