CHASE FREEDOM VISA SIG???

Does a Chase Freedom Visa Signature card exist? If it does, is it possible to PC to that? and also, is there any difference between that one and the Reg Chase Freedom?

Yes it exists. Pretty sure it's 13 mos to upgrade and its a signature so it ones with sig nature benefits

I have the Freedom Signature card. They upgraded me at some point without my requesting it. The card was not new at the time.

I have a Chase Freedom Visa Signature card, which was issued to me when I got approved. YMMV, I've read that others were able to PC. The Visa Signature card has more benefits than the regular version.

I got the normal visa version of Freedom, so I just called Chase to ask if I can get the visa signature version.

Apparently, I have to wait a year.

He explained that even for Chase Freedom cards, there're different versions. There's a 10 10 (or something like that), an ultimate version and a couple others. I am guessing that these different verions of freedoms were offered during different times, and Chase discontinued them to replace it with a newer version (like that 10+10 thing is gone).

I got approved for the ultimate version, and it doesn't come in a visa signature version.

He said after a year, I could do a PC to a 10 by 10 or another version of freedom that comes with visa signature option.

Oh well. 1 year wait I suppose.

yeap i do. does it make any difference for my CSP / Freedom? I have always been confused about this. Do I need to sign up or activate something somewhere?

My Chase Freedom visa is a signature card, My freedom mastercard is the World version.

Dont know anything about requirments, I've had the freedom signature since 2001, and the freedom world mastercard since 2003(Im sure I had the regular version of both cards at some point) . Both with similar 30k limits and I can combine my points on their website.

Doesnt the sig mean you have over a 5K limit? Most of my cards that arent chase are sig and so is my freedom and CSP

That's the same story they told me when I wanted to change mine from Visa to MasterCard. I told the CSR, "I'm not doing a product change; I just want to change the payment network". She said she would put in a request, and a few days later it was granted. That story about waiting a year is just a scripted answer. If your CL is over 5K, you should be able to upgrade to Visa Signature right away.

What different benefits come with the Sig that the reg freedom doesn't already offer?
