Will discover aprove with BK?

My dad wants to apply for a Discover it. He filled BK in 2005. He has since restored his credit and his fico scores are all in the 730 range. He did not file bk against a discover card. Only neg on his report is the BK which is now 8 years old. He wants to use the 0% ballance transfer that they offer if aproved. If no any other cards out their that offer low balance transfer thats BK friendly? Thanks for any advise given.

Just got approved after getting million pre approval from IT.

My BK is about 9 years old and never had Discover before.

$3500 limit to start and did BT for full $3500 for 12 months.

I'm also AU on DW Discover witch is 3 years old.

I think you got very got shot go for it.

I was approved for a Discover It with a 9.5 year old BK 7 on my reports. Limit $1000. Credit Score pulled by Discover 675 EQ.

Your dad should be fine if he's e established since the bk

Your Dad should be fine. I was approved 2 years after BK7 for a $1000 limit Discover More card.

Same here. BK Dec, 2005. Approved for Discover Feb 2013 the first time I applied. Approved instantly online. No previous relationship with Discover.

They declined me twice @ 5 & 7 yrs. post BK, I have seen others declined for 9 y/o BKs.

Just applied online for him. He ogt the 5-7 days so he called and they asked about the BK and they then aproved him for $5000. Thanks for the help!

Its YMMV with Discover on BK. IMO he has a decent shot at it. Good luck!!!!
